WE ARE THE LOVE STATION

The Love Station began in the 1970s at Shaw University, where five young men shared a passion for music. Originally called “Touch of Class,” then “Super TOC,” we became “Love Station” by 1980. We pursued music full-time in Washington D.C., working with producer Al Johnson, who helped shape our "Simply Smooth" style. Our big break was ruined by a backstage tussle, leading to the end of our career in 1981. Years later, after losing two members, the remaining three of us reunited to keep the Love Station name alive, releasing our first studio album, Curtains For The King Of Love.
